1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Ek Reel Aur (“we”, “us”, “our”, the “Organizer”), a vertical of The Event Valley, collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data when you sign up on the Ek Reel Aur Portal (the “Portal”) and participate in the Evereve One Less Thing Campaign (the “Campaign”), run in connection with EVEREVE (the “Brand”).
This Policy is drafted in accordance with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and other applicable Indian data protection law. It should be read alongside the Campaign Terms & Conditions. By signing up on the Portal or submitting content under the Campaign, you consent to the practices described here.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only what is reasonably necessary to run the Campaign, verify eligibility, allocate rewards, and meet our legal obligations:

3. How We Use Your Information
- To verify your eligibility to participate as a Creator under the Campaign Terms.
- To review and verify submitted Reels and allocate Points and Milestone rewards accordingly.
- To communicate with you about the Campaign — brief updates, verification queries, reward notices.
- To process reward payouts and comply with applicable tax law (including TDS deduction where thresholds are crossed).
- To detect and prevent fraud, fake accounts, bot engagement, and other violations of the Campaign Terms.
- To improve the Portal and the Campaign experience, and for internal record-keeping and reporting to EVEREVE.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, given when you sign up on the Portal and agree to the Campaign Terms and this Policy. Where applicable, we may also process data to comply with a legal obligation (e.g. tax law) or for our legitimate interest in preventing fraud and misuse of the Campaign.
5. Sharing & Disclosure
- With EVEREVE, for Campaign administration, content approval, and reporting purposes.
- With payment processors and banking partners, solely to process reward payouts.
- With tax authorities, if required to comply with TDS or other statutory obligations.
- With service providers who support Portal operations (e.g. hosting, verification tools), under confidentiality obligations.
We do not sell your personal data to any third party, and we do not share it for unrelated marketing purposes without your separate consent.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy — including the duration of the Campaign (6 Months), reward processing, and any statutory retention period required under tax or other applicable law. Once these purposes are fulfilled, your data is securely deleted or anonymized, unless a longer retention period is legally required.
7. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards — including access controls, encrypted storage where applicable, and restricted internal access — to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and while we work to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
Under the DPDP Act, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

To exercise any of these rights, contact our support team using the details in Section 11. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe as required under applicable law.
9. Age Restriction
The Campaign is open only to Creators aged 18 to 45, per the Campaign Terms. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.
10. Cookies & Portal Usage Data
The Portal may use cookies or similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Portal is used, so we can improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect Portal functionality.

- We aim to acknowledge grievances within 5 business days and resolve them as promptly as possible. If unresolved, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India as provided under the DPDP Act.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The current version is always available on the Portal, and continued participation in the Campaign after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
13. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Any disputes arising from this Policy are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.
